2008年6月19日,在北京时尚设计广场(D•PARK)A座中央大厅,举办了“人文奥运”中国概念时尚成衣设计作品发布会。本次活动在北京奥组委文化活动部的支持下,由中国服装设计师协会、北京市工业促进局、北京市商务局、北京服装纺织行业协会等单位共同主办,有 20位时装设计师、8家知名企业和4家时装院校的140余套设计作品参加发布,展示了中国当代时装设计水平、体现了设计师们对如何继承和发扬传统文化的深入思考。
为了进一步提高“中国概念”的时尚影响力,向世界展示中国时装设计师的创造力,保证此次活动的展示作品能够真正展现中华文化的深厚底蕴和艺术魅力,进一步探讨“中国概念”在现代时尚领域的应用方式,中国服装设计师协会向广大时装设计师,时装、成衣企业以及时装院校发出邀请,参加活动的设计师们以高度的责任感和专业精神,深入挖掘中华传统文化精髓,把握当代时尚生活方式,创作出既具有鲜明“中国概念”文化特征又符合当代时尚潮流的作品。
本次发布会旨在以“人文奥运”为契机,提高设计水平,传承中华文明;以“人文奥运”为己任,建设时装之都,展示北京风采。“人文奥运”中国概念时尚成衣设计发布会的成功举办,是对中国时尚设计力量的一次检阅,而活动本身的影响与意义已经超越了时尚与设计的范畴。纵观此次发布作品,可以看出设计师对传统文化的多种表现形式进行了可贵的探索,对“中国概念”与时尚流行的交汇运用也更加娴熟。参加展示的设计师认为,“中国概念”并不是简单的中国传统元素和符号的堆砌,而是在精神层面上对中华文明的继承与发扬。如何在尊重历史的基础上把中国传统服饰文化的特征和符号融入现代时尚,用现代设计语言诠释民族文化内涵,使传统服饰文化焕发新的生命力,达到文化精神层面的升华,是这次“人文奥运”中国概念时尚成衣设计作品发布会所带给我们的思考和启示。

CULTURAL OLYMPICS CHINA CONCEPT FASHION COLLECTION HELD IN BEIJING
Cultural Olympics China Concept Fashion Collection which is supported by Culture and Ceremonies Department of Beijing Organizing Committee for the Games of the XXIX Olympiad and organized by China Fashion Association, Beijing Municipal Burea of Industrial Development, Beijing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Beijing Clothing and Textile Industry Association together. About more than 140 fashion works from 20 fashion designers, 8 enterprises and 4 fashion institutes will hold fashion collection for the event and show China fashion and trational culture.
